One of the most prestigious names in carpets, Brintons began manufacturing in Kidderminster in 1783. They are the brand behind Vivienne Westwood’s iconic carpet dresses, and have been granted the Royal Warrant in recognition of the carpets they have supplied to Royal residences. Meeting high environmental and quality standards, the wool from 1 in 9 British sheep will be used to make a Brintons carpet. We are proud to supply their market-leading Bell Twist range.
Founded from a simple market stall, Cavalier built their reputation in the 1970s. Today, they are an award-winning manufacturer at the forefront of British industry. Cavalier are committed to sustainability, recycling 100% of their post-industrial waste. They are also a part of the Campaign for Wool, which has environmentalist HRH The Prince of Wales as its patron.
Based in the Ayrshire town of New Cumnock, Kingsmead has been manufacturing carpets for over 40 years, and many of their designs reflect the company’s Scottish heritage. Renowned for their wide choice of quality flooring products at affordable prices, Kingsmead produces synthetic and wool-based carpets, and is a licensee of the British Wool Marketing Board.
For over 35 years, Westex has been manufacturing premium carpets from their mill in West Yorkshire, at the heart of England’s traditional textile industry. Combining technical innovation and creative design in everything they do, Westex carpets are treated to prevent stains, dustmites, and moths – but still have a luxurious feel. They also offer a special dye service, enabling customers to create carpets in bespoke colours that effortlessly match your interior design scheme.
Established in the North of England in 1956, Cormar is a family-owned business. Manufacturing carpets at their two Lancashire mills, Holme Mill and Brookhouse Mill, Cormar maintains control of raw materials and quality throughout the production process and is committed to sustainable manufacture.
