At Reform Flooring we install a range of different types of floor coverings including vinyl flooring. We understand the importance of being an eco-friendly company by making sure that any leftover vinyl or existing vinyl is taken to the nearest drop off site or collected by Recofloor, avoiding landfill. Recofloor is a vinyl take-back scheme which accepts uplifted vinyl flooring and post-installation off-cuts. The scheme ensures vinyl is recycled and re-used as vinyl flooring or other products.
Recofloor
Recofloor began in 2009 and has gone from strength to strength, recently hitting a poignant milestone. During 2014 they were able to recycle 500 tonnes of vinyl flooring which is a huge testament to the 600 odd members throughout the UK. In 2014 we became the Recofloor Contractor of the year; this was a great achievement for us as a company. For us to obtain this award we collected nearly 1,700 tonnes of vinyl flooring since the UK take-back scheme's arrival in 2009.
We are very conscious about the environment and realise the importance of recycling, so we're really proud to be part of the Recofloor scheme. If you would like to know more about our vinyl flooring, please do not hesitate to visit our showroom in Lenwade Business Park. However, you can always call us on 01603 879359 and one of our team will be happy to help you.
Recofloor Champion 2015
One of our very own employees, Benjamin Neale, recently won Recofloor Champion 2015. We decided to nominate Ben for the champion of the year category as he always goes the extra mile. The award recognises individuals who have been consistent throughout the year and ensured that all the vinyl that was returned back to our yard had been put together and collected by Recofloor. We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Ben for his hard work and enthusiasm which has prevented any unwanted vinyl going to landfill.
