Training our Staff with the Amtico Product and Sales Course

We like all our staff to be up-to-date with their knowledge of the products we install. We feel passionate about making sure that our customers are talking to friendly and informative staff, and giving our staff opportunities for personal development is something. That’s why we sent two members of our team on the Product and Sales course at vinyl flooring company Amtico.

Amtico's dedicated training centre in the West Midlands is focused on giving floor fitters specialist courses in installing and selling Amtico products. Each course is focused on giving flooring fitters professional recognition in the flooring industry, and supporting companies that supply Amtico flooring.

The day-long Product and Sales course covered:

• The history of Amtico
  
• Detailed knowledge of Amtico products
  
• Sales techniques
  
• Care and maintenance procedures for all Amtico ranges
  

As well as giving in-depth information on the features of Amtico products, the course gave details on Amtico's unique POS system, product warranty advice, and how to use tools to their full potential. Nicholas and Benjamin were also provided with marketing literature and a training reference manual.

Amtico International was recently awarded the Best Luxury Vinyl Tile supplier of 2015 by the trade magazine Interiors Monthly. Proud to be British, Amtico designs and manufactures all of its products at its factory in Coventry. Amtico's designers search the world for inspiration, then bring their ideas back to the UK to be turned into vinyl floors.
