Cavalier Carpets: Commitment to Sustainability

For the ecologically minded, there is also the question of how sustainable is the company’s manufacturing process. One of the ranges that we stock - Cavalier Carpets - have gone to great lengths to ensure the sustainability of their product. By focussing on their supply chain and careful recycling of their waste products, Cavalier have worked with their manufacturing partners to ensure that all of their materials are recyclable.
Any textile waste from their carpet weaving process is recycled in one of three ways:
- Sent to their felt manufacturer to be recycled into underlay.
- Recycled into the pet bedding industry.
- Finishing dust is mixed with straw to provide cattle and horses with bedding that is later used to fertilise fields.
Cavalier specialise in single-colour carpets. For an opulent bedroom carpet we would recommend that you select from their Criterion Twist range of over 192 colours and styles - all manufactured with a 80/20 wool/polypropylene blend to give that perfect mix of comfort and durability.
