Reform Flooring Perform Another Perfect Delivery for Morgan Sindall

Morgan Sindall are a large construction company based in the UK. They compete for and win the contracts to oversee enormous regeneration projects. For specialist work, they will often employ subcontractors. They have strict criteria for the quality of the work they expect from their subcontractors, but are always quick to praise firms that meet those criteria. We worked with Morgan Sindall on the rebuild of the surgery theatre complex in the James Paget Hospital in Great Yarmouth and they awarded us their Perfect Delivery status for meeting all 5 of their customer commitments.

The Job

The James Paget Hospital in Great Yarmouth hired Morgan Sindall to oversee the expansion of their complex of theatres. State of the art equipment was installed and the complex was expanded to include new patient recovery rooms. The project took just over a year to complete and cost £9.3 million. We’ve worked with Morgan Sindall before, so they know that we are a reliable company they can call on when they are doing big projects here in the East

Our Part

In this case, Morgan Sindall asked us to install the floors for the new theatre complex. We installed 1300m² of Polyflor Pearlazzo smooth vinyl, 200m² of Polyflor Vogue Ultra safety vinyl, 110m² of Polyflor Noppe studded rubber tiles and over 800m of coved skirtings. Pearlazzo is the perfect flooring for hospital-type environments – it’s an environmentally preferred flooring that has been independently tested. It has also been demonstrated that a Pearlazzo vinyl floor inhibits the growth of MRSA. 

It was a big job, but we completed it in two phases of three weeks. 

The Morgan Sindall Customer Commitments

Morgan Sindall only award Perfect Delivery when a subcontractor meets all five of their customer commitments. These demand that:

• The work is completed safely.
  
• The work is completed on time.
  
• The work is completed snag-free.
  
• The customer is delighted.
  
• The customer reports that they would recommend the subcontractor.
