Making an Order with Reform Flooring

Posted on: 9th April 2015

Last week we took you through the stages of what to expect when visiting our showroom, from booking an appointment to the different flooring options available. Over the next few weeks we want to show you what to expect from us as a company and the high standard of workmanship you'll receive throughout the entire process. This week we are going to break down what happens when you make an order with us.

Conducting a Survey

Once you have decided on the flooring you would like, we will need to attend your property and conduct a survey. We can arrange a time that's convenient for you, with most customers requesting for us to visit within a couple of days of ordering the flooring. Conducting the survey gives us the opportunity to measure up the job, providing you with a comprehensive quote. The great thing with choosing us is that there are no hidden extras; once the price has been given to you it is a binding contract.

Quotations and Payment

We offer two types of payment options which are as follows:

  • Supply only: This is when we are only providing our customer with the floor covering. This requires 100% upfront payment.
  • Full service: Choosing this option means we supply the carpet for 50% upfront payment and then request the final 50% on completion of the job in agreement with your satisfaction.

In terms of paperwork, we send out an order form with every quotation, kindly asking our customers to fill it in and return to us with the 50% deposit.

Arranging the Fitting

Once you have accepted our quote as well as the Reform Flooring terms and conditions, we will book in your fitting job on the date that is most convenient for you. This is usually 2 weeks after placing the order with us.

Find out in next week's blog about the installation of our floorings and the process we use. If you missed last week's blog, you can read it here.
