Posted on: 29th May 2015

Under-floor heating is a very cost effective heating solution and is becoming extremely popular in the UK. It can cost less than £1 a day to heat your whole house with under-floor heating and can be used with different types of flooring. At Reform Flooring we have some high quality flooring options that you can use.

Wood Flooring

Our wooden flooring ranges are very popular and look stunning in any home, suiting all kinds of decors. We have two great wooden floor ranges which are ideal for under-floor heating systems:

Junckers - This range comes in 14mm and 22mm solid planks and is suitable for use with under-floor heating systems without movement. The great thing about these solid planks is that they come in a variety of shades such as:

  • Nordic Oak (white toned surface)
  • Oak Boulevard (ripe wheat colour)
  • Dark Ash (contrasts of light and dark brown wood)
  • Nordic Dark Ash (light appearance with dark grain pattern)

The range of colours spans from vivid light tones to exotic dark shades, meaning there is something for everyone. If this wood flooring appeals to you, you will be supplied with the special Junckers Woodcare system too.

Love Floors - The Oxford range is a fine choice and is suitable to use with under-floor heating. The range is fully FSC certified, ensuring you that the flooring you have in your home has been sourced responsibly and isn't harming the world's forests. The Oxford range comes in a number of finishes from unfinished to oiled.

If you are looking to have under-floor heating installed but need a robust and hard wearing floor, then our wood flooring options are perfect. Visit our showroom on Norwich Road, Lenwade and one of our team will happily assist you.
